The UMKC School of Law Expungement Clinic is taught and overseen by licensed and experienced attorney/educators who teach crucial lawyering skills to law students while serving people with eligible Missouri criminal records who can’t afford to hire their own attorney for expungement proceedings
The Clinic's Mission
Our clinic’s mission is to provide free legal assistance to individuals who are eligible to have their Missouri criminal record(s) expunged, but who cannot afford to hire a lawyer. Our Clinic provides services to qualifying individuals free of charge. While we attempt to assist all applicants, because we are a small clinic of limited staff and limited funds, we cannot make any guarantees that your application will be accepted.
